Yes, there's a very real risk of their use but at the same time allowing him to come away with victory or even a sense of victory promises even more catastrophic possibilities to come. It is a brutal brinkmanship we are engaged in with Putin, but like the Cuban Missile Crisis, it's one we can't back down from.

Thanks! And in no way I was hinging on giving him victory in Ukraine - rather, calling for crushing him sooner. The only way to eliminate Russia’s threat is to eliminate the regime.

Несомненно одно, на настоящем этапе от путлера можно освободиться только полной победой Украины, нанеся такой урон путинизму, чтобы Россия в результате отказалась от ядерного оружия хотя бы только стратегического назначения.

He won't give up the weapons while he is still alive. And he won't be taken alive to be tried at The Hague. It's just a waiting game now. Will he survive this war? Will he die in office?

Well, I’m afraid no politician in Russia will ever give up the nukes. So it should be taken away forcefully, after Russia has been beaten up and weakened

In your next post, can you write more about what you discussed in The Kremlin File podcast? About how it is Russian culture that predisposes Russian soldiers to commit war crimes and rape? I need a 3rd party source that is not just me saying it.
